The Moonphase Collection by Farer presents a stunning reimagining of one of watchmaking’s oldest complications. Each timepiece features a hand-painted moonphase disc crafted in Geneva, Switzerland, using Grade OL X1 Super-LumiNova for a luminous glow both day and night. Inspired by the moon’s varying shades under different conditions, each model showcases a uniquely coloured moon that draws the eye against a starry backdrop. The 38.5mm steel cushion case combines smooth curves and impeccable finishing, ensuring a comfortable and elegant fit on the wrist. A polished bezel with a brushed chamfer frames the dial beneath a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, while the curved sides feature a polished “grain twist” texture that enhances its overall silhouette. The watch is powered by the Swiss-made Elaboré Grade Sellita SW288-1 movement, offering 18 jewels, a 45-hour power reserve, and a host of features, including a hacking seconds hand and a quickset date window. The sapphire exhibition case back reveals the intricate movement within, adorned with bespoke Farer engravings and brilliant blue screws, making the Moonphase Collection a delightful fusion of art and precision.
