ZENITH DEFY SKYLINE SKELETON
NIGHT SURFER
EL PRIMERO
OUR SECOND COLLABORATIVE PIECE WITH ZENITH
After the DEFY Classic Skeleton Night Surfer limited edition of 100 pieces released in 2021, which captured the magnificence of the darkening night sky and the ocean in a microblasted titanium case paired with a liquid blue gradient dial, Zenith and Time+Time present the DEFY Skyline Skeleton Night Surfer El Primero, a limited edition of 200 pieces.
Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton Night Surfer El Primero
It’s finally here: the Zenith x Time+Tide Night Surfer El Primero, the much-anticipated sequel to our popular Zenith x Time+Tide Night Surfer collaboration from 2021.
This time based on the Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton, the Night Surfer El Primero, like the first Night Surfer, premieres several firsts for the Defy Skyline collection, while standing out as a uniquely handsome piece with an undeniable Australian aesthetic.
Not only is it the first Defy Skyline in titanium, it’s also the first Skyline Skeleton to have a gradient-colour dial, as well as the first to incorporate lume into the bridges of the star motif on the dial. The liquid blue gradient dial is inspired by the waves turning an abyss blue as night takes over dusk, with the skeletonised design allowing peeks at PVD blue-treated movement elements.
It’s also even “surfier” than the OG Night Surfer thanks to a screw-down crown as well as a rubber strap option, which is a cinch to swap on thanks to the Defy Skyline’s quick-change strap system. Measuring up at 41mm x 11.6mm x 46.3mm, it’s slightly larger than the OG, however has a similar weight at 105g on bracelet and 102g on rubber strap. All the while featuring a more robust construction and sportier aesthetic.
A complex movement also beats under the hood: a high-beat El Primero calibre derived from the legendary chronograph. This high-tech movement sports a silicon escapement and ticks at 36,000 vph for up to 60 hours. The rapid beat rate is shown off with the six o’clock sub-dial, as the hand traces its perimeter in just 10 seconds. It’s a substantial upgrade over the original; a covetous movement for a covetous watch.
Baltic x Time+Tide Hermétique Night Mode
A$1200 (Inc. GST), US$800 (Ex. VAT), GB£600 (Ex. VAT), EU€700 (Ex. VAT)
Meet the Baltic x Time+Tide Hermétique Night Mode: which would be among the darkest and most dapper field watches we’ve ever seen, and something we’re really proud to share with the world as part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations.
The Baltic x Time+Tide Hermétique Night Mode features a 37mm stainless steel case with a matte black PVD coating, paired with a matte black dial. A polished steel ring punctuates the indices, adding a subtle hit of light that plays well with its double- domed sapphire crystal.
The dial of the Hermétique Tourer embodies the essence of Baltic's toolwatch design, combining timeless elegance with functionality. Every detail has been carefully thought out to make it easy to read the time, even in the dark. The dial features a lightlybrushed black railway sector, contrasting with the matte central sector encircled by two polished steel blades. The hour appliques are made of Super-Luminova® BGW9 and overlap the two sectors in places, offering a play of depths to the composition as a whole. The "syringe" hands are in polished steel and fitted with the same Super-Luminova®.
The Hermétique Tourer is equipped with a calibre 9039, a self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve developed by the Japanese manufacture Miyota. Chosen for its robustness and reliability, it ensures the Hermétique's optimal precision in all conditions and environments.
Featuring a double-domed sapphire crystal and 316L steel case, the Hermétique Tourer has a slim 10,8mm profile (8.3mm without glass) and 46mm lug to lug. These dimensions and materials offer unique comfort and ultra-resistance.
The Baltic x Time+Tide Hermétique Night Mode comes with two Tropic-style straps – one in black and one in green – made from FKM rubber, an ultra-soft and durable material offering unrivalled comfort.
Furlan Marri x Time+Tide Outback Elegy Editions
Price: A$2,650 (inc GST), CHF1'500 (exc. VAT), US$1,800 (exc. VAT)
The wait is finally over. We’re proud to announce the very first boutique edition released as part of our T+T10 celebration.
Introducing the Furlan Marri x Time+Tide Outback Elegy – a piece not only serving as a nod to where we’ve come from, but also launching the new “Editions” initiative from the brand – a series of special versions available only from their retail locations.
You’ve seen all sorts of black, blue, and green dials, but when was the last time you saw a truly unique brown? Now you have. These warm tones are taken from the signature colour of Australia’s outback, but given a slightly darker, moody twist. The details are highly complex, with a metallic, ochre brown centre that darkens to a glossy chocolate towards the edges, all reflecting the handset. The printed sector layout and dial appliqués are rendered in a warm rose gold, with the latter highly polished.
A notable layout change from the regular Furlan Marri Mechanical models are the Roman numerals that replace the Breguet Arabics. Not only do they dress up the watch a tad, but also contribute to the geometric nature of the sector dial itself. We’ve also done away with the reference indication in the lower right corner – an unsurprising choice considering many of us normally scoff at most forms of dial text.
Powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement from La Joux-Perret G100 with an elaborated finish, tungsten rotor with palladium coating and hacking seconds function.
The case is finished with a care for details, like the "perlage" decoration inside the caseback, the curved hands and the applied indexes.
The watch comes with two straps included in the packaging, one curved and one straight. Two holes have been made in the lugs, to let you choose between the two straps options.
STUDIO UNDERD0G X TIME+TIDE HAND DELIVERED
The ‘Hand Delivered’ Pizza Watch started as a joke with Richard (Studio Underd0g) and Andrew (Time+Tide Watches) on April Fool’s Day 2023. It was a pure prank, there was zero intention for it to ever see the light of day.
But when the world made it clear they wanted the watch for real, we talked about it and realised there was an opportunity to do a social experiment that we think actually defines the connection Studio Underdog and Time+Tide has with their tribes. But like the best pizza, this watch will only ever be served fresh out of the oven, and by the hands that made it.
This will be an exclusively hand-delivered watch, either by the kitchen hands at the Time+Tide Watch Discovery Studio in Melbourne, or by head chefs, Rich from Studio Underdog and Andrew from Time+Tide.
To commemorate the ACTUAL release for Time+Tide to mark the launch of the Studio Underd0g Classic Pizza and Hawaiian Pizza one year later, we’re also releasing a hoodie and t-shirt, both of which will be available for purchase globally.
