Description
The inspiration for the Super Antarctic reissue came from a post on Instagram by one of Nivada Grenchen's dedicated followers who shared their vintage timepiece. The overwhelming response they received to this post motivated them to recreate it, maintaining its original essence but with modern upgrades.
Some of these features include Sapphire Glass and a Swiss automatic movement (Soprod P024) featuring a screw-down crown for 10 ATM water resistance.
The Super Antarctic 3.6.9 faithfully replicates the vintage model, offering two dial options: matte black or tropical, both equipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova. To enhance authenticity, an aging effect has been added to the dial and hands. With a diameter of 38mm and lugs to lugs measuring 45mm, and a thickness of 12mm, it maintains a classic yet substantial presence. Notably, the legendary gold medallion adorns the caseback, adding to its historical allure.

Once your request is received, our team will contact you to arrange the return of your watch. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product(s) show signs of wear.

Every Nivada Grenchen watch comes with an international manufacturer’s warranty of two years.
Nivada Grenchen's warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in their warranty conditions. Nivada Grenchen will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by their workshop.
Please note Nivada Grenchen's warranty is not applicable in the following cases:
- Theft, loss.
- Wear and tear and normal ageing of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)
- All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided.
- All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the watch.
This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised Nivada Grenchen sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty is void if the serial numbers or product date codes or other tracking marks have been removed, altered or obliterated.
