A feast for the eyes

Baltic, the acclaimed French watch microbrand, embarks on a new chapter with the Prismic collection. Drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of early 1900s “cocktail” watches, the Prismic series embodies vintage charm with a modern twist. Each timepiece is crafted from premium materials to create a stylish experience for watch enthusiasts seeking a touch of luxury. The Prismic collection prioritizes aesthetics, boasting a wealth of unique details that are sure to captivate any onlooker.

A case study in elegance

The Baltic Prismic case is a testament to meticulous engineering. Measuring a comfortable 36mm in diameter, it utilizes a unique combination of materials: polished stainless steel for the bezel, lugs and caseback, seamlessly integrated with a high performance Grade 5 titanium midcase. A luxurious double domed sapphire crystal completes the design. The Prismic showcases a deliberate play on textures, with polished surfaces on the top contrasting beautifully with the circular or horizontally brushed finish on the underside. The Prismic is also really slender. With an overall thickness of just 9.2mm (7.4mm without the crystal) it's a watch that looks as good as it feels.

A symphony of subtle details

The Baltic Prismic dial takes inspiration from the Art Deco era with its captivating design. The outer section features a meticulous brushed finish, providing a sophisticated backdrop for the applied, prism-shaped indices. These unique markers, resembling precious stones, instantly draw the eye and add a touch of undeniable luxury. The larger inner section features a mesmerizing guilloché finish, adding depth and dimension to the dial. A grained sub-seconds dial sites nestled at 3 o’clock, framed by a polished steel circle. The dauphine hands, with their meticulous brushing and polished chamfers, seamlessly complement the dial’s refined aesthetic.

Powered by tradition

The Baltic Prismic delivers on both performance and aesthetics. The heart of the watch is a dependable Swiss made Peseux 7001 hand-wound movement, crafted by ETA. This caliber offers a 42-hour power reserve, ensuring exceptional timekeeping. The Prismic further elevates the experience with a stunning sapphire caseback that reveals the beauty of the mechanical movement within. For everyday wearability, the watch also boasts a 30-meter water resistance rating. The Prismic caters to diverse tastes by offering four captivating dial color options: classic blue, sophisticated salmon, verdant green, and alluring purple. To complete the look, you can choose from a sleek stainless steel bracelet or comfortable brown or black leather strap.
