Expanding its integrated sports watch lineup, Mido has unveiled the Multifort 8 One Crown, a more streamlined take on last year’s Two Crowns model. Rooted in the brand’s Technometry philosophy, where cutting-edge technology meets geometric precision, the new release adopts a cleaner, more versatile design. With a single crown positioned at 3 o’clock, the Multifort 8 One Crown offers exceptional day-to-day wearability, incontestable visual impact, and exceptional value.

Dial design, distilled

The Multifort 8 One Crown stands out with a new intense blue dial, but a more tamed black one is also available. Featuring a horizontal line pattern, the Multifort 8 One Crown opts for a recessed minute track in place of the rotating flange on its predecessor for a cleaner, more streamlined look. Mido prioritises readability through the use of polished and satin-finished indices in combination in combination tri-faceted hands coated with Super-LumiNova. A date aperture at 3 o’clock enhances the watch’s day-to-day usability.

The Multifort 8 One Crown carries over the distinctive eight-sided bezel that made its predecessor so striking. Reinforcing the watch’s strong geometric identity, the screw-down crown on the right side of the case mirrors the same eight-sided profile for a sense of visual harmony. What emerges is a watch that looks the part and performs it too, with 100m of water resistance to match its sporty ambitions.

To power this excellent geometric sports watch, Mido is using its own in-house Calibre 80, offering an extended 80-hour power reserve for true everyday practicality. Finished with Côtes de Genève on the rotor and fitted with a Nivachron balance spring, the movement can be admired via the sapphire exhibition caseback.

The Multifort 8 One Crown sees the return of Mido’s proven integrated stainless steel bracelet, finished in satin for a clean, contemporary look. A quick-release system allows for effortless strap changes, while a two-button folding clasp keeps everything securely in place.
