Known for bringing professional-grade tool watches to enthusiasts at approachable prices, Nodus now presents the Duality II, a fresh take on the super-compressor diver of vintage fame. The design nods to the golden era of dual-crown watches while embracing todayβs manufacturing innovations, resulting in timepieces that feel nostalgic and distinctly modern.
The Nodus Duality II is defined by its ingenious inner bezel system. Replacing the traditional outer ring, this rotating bidirectional bezel with 48 clicks comes with a sapphire insert and is controlled by the crown at 2 oβclock. Protecting it is a bold domed sapphire crystal that flows seamlessly over the bezel. Offered with either a 60-minute dive scale or a 12-hour GMT configuration, the Duality caters to both explorers of depth and distance.
Dual-crown divers have long been associated with depths of around 200m, but Nodus has taken the vintage formula and elevated it. By leveraging cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, the Duality II delivers an impressive 300m of water resistance. Housed in a 40mm case of surgical-grade stainless steel and refined to just 11.5mm in thickness, it balances durability with a sleek wrist presence.
Nodus Duality II HIGHLIGHTS
Clarity in every detail
Nodus has sharpened the Duality IIβs visual impact with high-grade applied indices that rise above the dial, faceted to catch the light and enhance visibility. Wider hands complement the look, offering bold readability in any setting. In low-light conditions, a two-tone lume display takes over: cool blue BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers, contrasted by vivid green on the bezel triangle and minute/hour-track markers. A framed date at 6 oβclock underscores the watchβs purposeful symmetry.
A movement you can trust
At its core, the Nodus Duality II is powered by the Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic movement, delivering reliable performance with a 41-hour reserve. Pairing strength with comfort, Nodus introduces an upgraded three-link bracelet featuring soft chamfered edges and half-links for exact sizing. Available across three refined matte dial options, the Duality II offers collectors a choice that feels both versatile and distinctive. All Nodus watches, including the Duality II, are assembled in-house in Los Angeles.
