The 6190 TXD takes the brand’s familiar field-watch design and pairs it with a tuxedo dial. Not as a gimmick, but as a thoughtful evolution. It remains a sturdy, everyday mechanical tool. It just happens to look perfectly suited for a dinner jacket.
The dial is the main show. Made with smooth enamel, it features layered concentric circles: a shiny black centre, a warm beige hour ring, and a clearly defined outer minute track. The look is classic "tuxedo," but with real depth and texture — the kind that only becomes visible as the light shifts.
The stainless-steel case remains compact and elegantly designed, measuring 37.7mm across with a slim 10.4mm profile. The long, twisted lugs play a significant role here, featuring satin-brushed surfaces combined with polished chamfers that catch the light just enough. It’s a design that references mid-century sports watches without resorting to pastiche.
Despite its dressier appearance, this is still very much a Serica. A double-domed sapphire crystal adds a touch of vintage distortion, water resistance is a confident 200 meters, and legibility remains excellent thanks to applied indices filled with Super-LumiNova C3. The signature arrow hour hand remains — now brushed, not polished — a small tweak that makes all the difference.
Powering the TXD is the COSC-certified Soprod M100, an automatic Swiss movement that beats at 4Hz with a 42-hour power reserve. It’s accurate, reliable, and exactly the kind of movement you want in a watch designed to be worn every day.
The watch features Serica’s stainless-steel Bonklip bracelet, a lighter and more flexible alternative to a traditional sports band. It drapes beautifully, fits smaller than its measurements suggest, and has quietly become one of the brand’s signatures.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Your item can be returned 30 days after purchase for any reason for a full refund. Return requests can be initiated through the self-serve form at the bottom of our Refunds and Exchanges page. Once your request is received, our team will contact you to arrange the return of your item. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product(s) show signs of wear.
WARRANTY
Every Serica watch comes with an international manufacturer’s warranty of two years.
Serica's warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in their warranty conditions. Serica will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by their workshop.
Please note Serica's warranty is not applicable in the following cases:
- Theft, loss.
- Wear and tear and normal ageing of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)
- All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided.
- All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the watch.
This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised Serica sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty is void if the serial numbers or product date codes or other tracking marks have been removed, altered or obliterated.
