The NORQAIN Independence models pair a captivating gradient dial with a bold 40mm case and a 12.05mm profile, resulting in a confident, well-balanced wrist presence. Most distinctive is the hand-applied “scratched” finish on the dial, making every watch entirely unique. A discreet date window at 3 o’clock adds everyday practicality.
The NORQAIN Independence gradient dial is further emphasised by a black inner flange, adding depth and contrast. Rectangular indices and rhodium-plated hands are filled with X1 Super-LumiNova for strong nighttime visibility. An orange-tipped seconds hand adds a subtle pop of colour, echoing the Chronometer marking at the bottom of the dial.

The Independence 40mm by NORQAIN celebrates individualism and adventure, redefining style with its partnership with the Hakuna Mipaka Oasis. Created in collaboration with Dean Schneider, founder of the South Africa wildlife sanctuary bearing the same name, the watch features a DLC-coated stainless steel case, a leopard-pattern dial, and a velour-style rubber strap. Powering the model is the exact same movement found in the standard Independence models.
