Anoma creates wearable sculptures, inspired by the rich world beyond watchmaking. The watch's rounded triangular shape was inspired by a 1950s free form table by Charlotte Perriand. We first came across one in a Parisian antique gallery a few years ago. We were also inspired by the organic softness of river stones, valued for their tactility and naturally pleasing silhouette, and the dynamism of Constantin Brancusi's modernist sculptures.
The A1 Abyss represents the purest, most distilled expression of the A1. It plays on contrasting textures and restrained, nature-inspired design. The A1 Abyss aims to capture the depth of the ocean. The dial of the A1 Abyss is built from three layers of lacquer — one greenish-blue, two deep midnight blue — finished with a mirror-polished centre, sunburst outer, and silver printing.
The sculptural case bends light and reflections, subtly reshaping the world around it. To preserve the purity of the form, we concealed distractions by hiding the lugs, crown, and other superfluous details.

Every Anoma watch comes with an international manufacturer’s warranty of two years.
Anoma's warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in their warranty conditions. Anoma will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by their workshop.
Please note Anoma's warranty is not applicable in the following cases:
- Theft, loss.
- Wear and tear and normal ageing of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)
- All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided.
- All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the watch.
This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised Anoma sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty is void if the serial numbers or product date codes or other tracking marks have been removed, altered or obliterated.
