Formex’s bestselling Essence now lands in the sweet-spot 41 mm stainless-steel case—precisely re-proportioned between 39 and 43. It retains the brand’s signature, patented Case Suspension System and adds a new screw-down crown engineered to work with the shock-absorbing case design for extra security and comfort. Four signature dials—Blue, Gamaret, Dégradé, and White—showcase crisp finishing from our family-owned dial manufacture in the Swiss Jura. A next-generation, patented butterfly clasp brings on-the-fly micro-adjustment (0 / 3 / 6 mm) without opening the bracelet, so the fit stays perfect all day. Movement
A Swiss-made automatic chronometer certified by COSC powers the Essence 41. Each movement completes the 15-day rate test for outstanding accuracy and precision, and is finished with Formex’s custom skeletonized rotor.
Dial
The Essence’s defining horizontal grooves are CNC-machined line by line for sharp relief and light play. A beveled date window at six o’clock integrates seamlessly with color-matched date wheels. Applied, diamond-polished indexes and hands feature Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9 for clear legibility day and night. Available in Blue, Gamaret, Dégradé, and White—each with its own finishing touches.
Straps and Clasps
Choose the stainless-steel bracelet with a seamless, patented butterfly clasp offering three discreet micro-adjust settings (0 / 3 / 6 mm) you can change in seconds—no tools, no removal, even to tighten. Leather, rubber, and nylon straps pair with Formex’s in-house deployant clasp featuring a gradual fine-adjust system for a dialed-in fit. All options are quick-change, so you can swap between straps and bracelet without tools—fast and secure.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Your item can be returned 30 days after purchase for any reason for a full refund. Return requests can be initiated through the self-serve form at the bottom of our Refunds and Exchanges page. Once your request is received, our team will contact you to arrange the return of your item. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product(s) show signs of wear.
WARRANTY
Every FORMEX watch comes with an international manufacturer’s warranty of two years.
FORMEX's warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in their warranty conditions. FORMEX will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by their workshop.
Please note FORMEX's warranty is not applicable in the following cases:
- Theft, loss.
- Wear and tear and normal ageing of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)
- All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided.
- All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the watch.
This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised FORMEX sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty is void if the serial numbers or product date codes or other tracking marks have been removed, altered or obliterated.
