The Seconde Majeure is the result of an unlikely collaboration between Baltic and SpaceOne — two brands with entirely different approaches to watchmaking, brought together through a shared vision and long-standing friendship.
At its core is a rethinking of how time is displayed. Traditional hands are replaced by a decentralised system of sapphire discs, with hours shown at 12 o’clock and minutes at 6, guided by a precise crosshair indicator. A sweeping central seconds hand brings motion and balance to the dial, giving the watch its name.
This architecture is built around an exclusive jumping-hour module developed by independent watchmaker Théo Auffret. The mechanism is visible from the dial side, showcasing a carefully considered interplay of components that control the transition of each hour.
The brushed dial offers a clean, contemporary finish that highlights the structure of the display, while the 38.5mm case balances polished and brushed surfaces for a refined yet distinctive presence on the wrist.
Produced only during a limited pre-order window, each piece is individually numbered — a rare expression of independent watchmaking and collaborative design.

Your item can be returned 30 days after purchase for any reason for a full refund. Return requests can be initiated through the self-serve form at the bottom of our Refunds and Exchanges page. Once your request is received, our team will contact you to arrange the return of your item. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product(s) show signs of wear.
Every Baltic watch comes with an international manufacturer’s warranty of two years.
Baltic's warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in their warranty conditions. Baltic will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by their workshop.
Please note Baltic's warranty is not applicable in the following cases:
- Theft, loss.
- Wear and tear and normal ageing of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)
- All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided.
- All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the watch.
This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised Baltic sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty is void if the serial numbers or product date codes or other tracking marks have been removed, altered or obliterated.
