The Reef 39.5 mm Forged Carbon introduces a new material expression to our dive watch collection—combining a forged carbon dial and interchangeable bezel with Formex’s patented fine adjustment system for exceptional comfort in any environment.
Forged under heat and pressure from compressed carbon fibers, the dial reveals a naturally varied structure—each piece entirely unique. As light moves across its surface, subtle shifts in tone and texture emerge, evoking the fluid, ever-changing character of water. The bevelled date window at 6 o’clock, a hallmark of all Formex watches, is seamlessly integrated into the design.
The forged carbon bezel follows the same philosophy. Its engravings are executed with extreme precision, then hand-filled with BGW9 Grade A Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility in low light. Like all Reef bezels, it features a 120-click unidirectional mechanism and can be removed and exchanged by hand—offering seamless versatility across the collection.
Despite its robust specifications, the Reef 39.5 remains remarkably compact and slim, measuring just 11 mm in height with a balanced 45.5 mm lug-to-lug span. Combined with 300 meters of water resistance, a screw-down crown, and a COSC-certified Sellita SW300-1 with a 56-hour power reserve, it delivers true dive watch performance in a highly wearable form.
The FORMEX gradual fine-adjustment systems across all strap and bracelet options ensure a precise fit throughout the day, adapting effortlessly to changing conditions.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Your item can be returned 30 days after purchase for any reason for a full refund. Return requests can be initiated through the self-serve form at the bottom of our Refunds and Exchanges page. Once your request is received, our team will contact you to arrange the return of your item. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product(s) show signs of wear.
WARRANTY
Every FORMEX watch comes with an international manufacturer’s warranty of two years.
FORMEX's warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in their warranty conditions. FORMEX will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by their workshop.
Please note FORMEX's warranty is not applicable in the following cases:
- Theft, loss.
- Wear and tear and normal ageing of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)
- All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided.
- All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the watch.
This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised FORMEX sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty is void if the serial numbers or product date codes or other tracking marks have been removed, altered or obliterated.
