Tissot

A tradition that stands the test of time

Tissot’s story began in 1853 in the watchmaking town of Le Locle, where Charles Félicien Tissot and his son set out to create timepieces of exceptional quality—an ambition that still burns bright today. The brand quickly made history with the first mass-produced pocket watches and an innovative dual-time-zone model. As wristwatches started to gain popularity in early 20th century, Tissot’s reputation soared, even catching the attention of royalty. In 1921, Queen Elizabeth of Belgum commissioned a special Tissot watch, further cementing the brand’s status as a watchmaker of distinction.

Tissot’s passion for precision naturally led to a role in sports timing, staring in 1938 with a ski race in the Swiss Alps, where one of its wrist chronographs ensured accurate timing. From there, Tissot expanded its presence into the world of professional cycling—becoming the official timekeeper of the Tour de France – tennis, as well as motorcycling. With a love for speed and competition, Tissot continues to honour its sporting heritage to this day.

Tissot HIGHLIGHTS

A timeless icon reborn

Tissot’s PRX is a fan favourite, but the story goes all the way back to 1978. The original model was a game-changer, featuring a sleek barrel-shaped case and an integrated steel bracelet, all powered by a quartz movement. While it disappeared for a time, Tissot brought it back in 2021 with modern upgrades while keeping the retro charm intact. With the PRX Digital, the line takes another leap forward, blending futuristic aesthetics with cutting-edge digital functionality.

Tissot’s dive into deep

Tissot didn’t just dip a toe into the dive watch category—it made waves with the Seastar collection. With a solid 300m water resistance, an anti-magnetic, shock-resistant case, and a dust-repelling build, the Seastar is made for those who thrive in extreme conditions. Power it all is the Powermatic 80 movement, delivering an impressive 80-hour power reserve. And for those who want even more, the collection includes dynamic chronograph models built to deliver performance under pressure.
