The Straum founders’ expedition to scale Beerenberg, the towering active stratovolcano on the remote Norwegian island of Jan Mayen, became a defining source of inspiration for the brand’s Jan Mayen lineup. With no permanent population, the island remains largely untouched, its raw geology and pristine nature offering a rare glimpse into an unspoiled world. This transformative experience is reflected in the Jan Mayen lineup, which captures both the drama and beauty of this remote environment.
